Transatlantic flights are the worst. You leave the plane feeling like you've been in a cold air drying machine- no idea which way is up and totally washed out.
Must haves for a 911 dinner do-up with clients right off the plane:
-1.5 L smart water for the plane (the electrolytes make a difference)
-bold lip I can apply without liner
-a swipe of mascara
-basic black pump
And I'm ready to go!

Lather up
This time of year, a main skincare priority for me is moisturizer. Dry, chapped lips make it impossible to keep up with reapplying lipstick. Not to mention that no one wants to be looking at a hemline only to be distracted by some girl's dry, ashy knees. So I have devised a system to keep my skin glowing through the winter months. An exfoliating face and body cleanser are a key first step. Just anything with "buffing beads" in a brand you like will do the trick. Exfoliating removes dead skin cells from the surface so that your moisturizer can be easily absorbed.
As far as moisturizer is concerned, I usually start alternating my regular moisturizer with night cream for my face, and moisturize my body with shea or cocoa butter RIGHT after a shower - which also aids in the effectiveness of whatever cream you're using. If you have extra dry skin, I would recommend a body oil - personally it makes me feel a little too greasy, but a lot of girls are into it becaue it's more "natural"- meaning it doesnt contain parabens or any other preservatives that a group of us believe to have carcinogenic properties.
